Siemens sells audiology business in €2.15bn buy-out
Executive Summary
European private equity firm EQT VI (with the Wallenberg family as an anchor investor) and Santo Holding (the investment arm of the Strungmann family of German entrepreneurs) paid €2.15bn ($2.7bn; $1.4bn in equity and $1.3bn in cash), for Siemens Audiology Solutions, a leading hearing aid manufacturer. Siemens is also eligible for an undisclosed earn-out.
