Executive Summary
Mobisante Inc. (mobile ultrasound imaging), has closed a $4.1mm Series A financing led by WRF Capital; 24 other backers--including the W Fund (formed by WRF in 2012 with $20mm to invest in research spin-outs) and a group of angel investors comprising several members of the Alliance of Angels (a Seattle syndicate focused on seed and early-stage investments)--also participated. A WRF Capital director will join the Mobisante board. The company expects another tranche of up to $1.2mm more to close soon.
