Executive Summary
Eight-year-old Vertos Medical Inc. (developer of the mild procedure for lumbar spinal stenosis) raised $23mm through a Series E financing. Pitango Venture Capital led and was joined by returning shareholders Onset Ventures, CHL Medical Partners, Foundation Medical Partners, Mercury Fund, and Aweida Venture Partners. Proceeds will support ongoing US commercial activities for mild and to launch the product in Europe.
