Executive Summary
JenaValve Technology GMBH (developing a minimally invasive aortic valve replacement system) has raised €19mm ($25.6mm) through its Series B round. Sunstone Capital and VI Partners led and were joined by fellow new backer GIMV and returning shareholders Atlas Venture, Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners, and NeoMed Management. VI Partners will contribute one member while Sunstone and NeoMed will each have one observer on JenaValve's board.
