Executive Summary
Svelte Medical Systems (stents) has raised a total of $20mm through the closing of a $6mm tranche of its oversubscribed Series A venture round. CNF Investments, Apjohn Ventures, the Fischell family, and Norwich Ventures were some of the investors. The four-year-old company is working on an expandable balloon stent and has technology to develop a drug-eluting stent.
