Stryker structural changes: Orthopedic firm appointed Lonny J. Carpenter to the newly created position of group president for Global Quality and Operations Sept. 1. Before the move, Carpenter, a 20-veteran with Stryker, was group president of Instruments and Medical. In the new post, he will set and execute company-wide strategy for quality, manufacture, procurement and logistics. Concurrently, the company is giving Timothy J.
