Firms target low-volume, film-based mammography clinics under a private label distribution pact in which iCAD will make film-based computer-aided detection (CAD) systems for Hologic to combine with its film-based, analog mammography systems. Hologic estimates that lower-volume centers account for over half the market for breast cancer analog CAD products.
