Executive Summary
Sens. Rick Santorum (R-Penn.) and Blanche Lincoln (D-Ark.) introduce the "Medicare Innovation Responsiveness Act" of 2003 (S 823) April 8. Santorum expects the bill, which was referred to the Finance Committee, to initially move as a stand-alone measure but says it may be included it as part of a larger Medicare reform package.
