A former executive at Life Technologies has joined Freedom Meditech, a San Diego, California company developing an eye-based diagnostic system for monitoring diabetes, as CEO. John Gerace led the Applied Sciences division of Life Technologies and also served as vice-president and general manager of the company’s PCR Systems business unit.
