Imaging giant Philips and Belgian proton therapy specialist Ion Beam Applications (IBA) have agreed to collaborate on advanced diagnostic and therapeutic solutions for the treatment of cancer. The companies say that combining image guidance with proton therapy will lead to “more efficient, personalized cancer care.” No financial details were given.
