This article was originally published in Clinica

Executive Summary

The US FDA has discontinued its practice of notarizing medical device export certificates and manufacturers will now have to apply to another government department for the authentication. At the same time, the agency is enhancing its voluntary online system for allowing manufacturers to request export documents more efficiently than submitting their applications on paper.
