Zimmer posted disappointing third-quarter results, with net sales during the period falling 1% to $965m. Its European business was hit hardest, with an 11% drop in sales at $216m, while the Americas saw flat revenue at $538m. Only Asia-Pacific recorded a sales increase, growing 12% to reach $166m.
