The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) executive committee meets next week to decide which performance-enhancing substances and methods it will ban in 2011. These are due to be announced by 1 October 2010, and will come into force on 1 January 2011. The meeting, to be held in Montreal, Canada, on 18 September, will also serve to approve scientific research projects for funding, which is decided annually.
