Executive Summary
Wisconsin-based Rogan Medical Systems introduced its HyperNET high speed imaging network at RSNA (November 26th-December 1st). The technology speeds image retrieval access time and can be used in conjunction with the company's HyperPACS imaging equipment, which received FDA clearance in April. HyperNET allows users to access information at a rate of 1.3 Gigabits per second. Rogan also launched its CD-ROM JukeBox image retrieval system, which can give PACS users 65 Gigabytes of storage. Up to 24 JukeBoxes can be connected to a single file server.
