The extra DM 600 million ($405 million) to be added to German GPs' budgets will be available before the end of this year, says Arzte Zeitung. The budget supplement received approval from the cabinet in July (see Clinica No 663, p 4). The upper house of parliament, the Bundesrat, also approved the new doctors' scale of fees (GOA) which will come into force on January 1st, 1996. The points value will increase by 3.6% to DM 0.114.
