St Jude Medical has been granted the CE mark from Munich-based TUV Product Service for its Toronto SPV valve. The stentless porcine tissue valve is designed to offer superior haemodynamic performance in the aortic position and increased durability over conventional stented heart valves, says St Jude. The product is in clinical trials in the US.
