UK home healthcare company Omnicare last week floated on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in London, raising £4 million ($6 million). A total of 666,667 shares were sold at 60 pence each, representing 9.8% of the enlarged capital of the company. Omnicare supplies and maintains oxygen concentrators at patients' homes and its Medigas subsidiary fills oxygen cylinders which are then supplied to patients via pharmacies. The company had sales of £1.7 million in 1994, up 9% on the previous year, and net income of £371,000, up 13%.
