Rapid diagnostic test developer Cortecs (UK) has reported a 53% increase in turnover to £7.5 million ($11.6 million) in the 12 months to June. This is due to long-term distribution deals for its Helisal H pylori test kit agreed with Astra, Boehringer Mannheim and Zenyaku Kogyo. Cortecs' net loss was reduced to £4.2 million compared with £5.4 million in the previous year.
