French publish magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) reimbursement tariffs

Revised reimbursement rates for MRI examinations have been published by the French Health Ministry in the official journal (May 16th, 1995). The new tariffs are based on the power of the system and the location of the installation, which shows, an approximately 9% increase in the cost of procedures in Paris compared with other regions.
