Karl Storz (Germany) has launched an arthroscopy shaver for use in all joints. The Unidrive system has three speed settings (500-3,000 rpm) and nine user memories for saving customised settings. The company has also launched a range of instruments for endoscopic carpal-tunnel syndrome procedures and a camera system for surgical microscopes and colposcopes.
