St Jude Medical (US) has announced several international management changes. Maria Teresa Ajamil is named vice-president of Asia/Pacific area operations, based in St Paul, MN, US. She was formerly director of international sales & marketing at the company's cardiac assist division. Edward Storch, former director of Latin American operations, is promoted to vice-president of that section. Ralf Petereit, former regional sales manager for Schering-Plough in Germany, is named sales manager of St Jude Medical's heart valve business in Germany. Stephen O'Connor is named director of field clinical engineering, at the company's cardiac rhythm management business, based in Brussels, Belgium. He was formerly European clinical research co-ordinator for CPI, a unit of Guidant. David Vied becomes director of operations for St Jude Medical Europe, based in Brussels, Belgium. He was formerly director of human resources for the St Jude Medical Division in St Paul, MN, US.
