Executive Summary
Denley has launched a microplate reader with a new laminar illuminator. The reader uses a woven fibre-optic mat to illuminate a whole well-strip allowing it to be read without being moved. Denley says this gives better detection because moving plates can cause changes in substrate absorption. The reader can be operated from a laboratory PC. Denley has also launched Aquarius, a new programmable, orbital-shaking microplate washer. The company has been awarded ISO 9001.
