St Jude Medical's (US) Microny SR+ pacemaker has entered clinical trials in Europe. The pulse generator, which weighs only 14 g, has been implanted in patients at five hospitals in Sweden and Austria. The trial, organised by St Jude's Pacesetter subsidiary, will follow patients for one year.
