Dyax wins third phage-display patent:

Technology that allows scientists to identify and capture molecules with important characteristics from a mixture containing millions of compounds won a third US patent last week. Desirable molecular properties include high specificity and high affinity, and are important for diagnostics and separation technology. Dyax has already signed licensing agreements with a number of companies interested in its so-called phage display technology, and plans further deals following its newest patent.
