Invitech has launched an ELISA kit for serum gastrin measurement in the UK. Gastrin measurement is used in the diagnosis of several gastrointestinal disorders and to monitor patients after gastric surgery. Most commercial kits in the UK are radio-immunoassays. The company, which is based in Tyne and Wear, UK, has also launched a range of 18 tumour marker controls.
