Medtronic invests in SurVivaLink:

SurVivaLink, a manufacturer of automated external defibrillators, has received $4 million through an equity investment by cardiovascular company Medtronic. This is part of a private placing priced at $4.50 a share which SurVivaLink hopes will raise $12 million when completed in early 1997. SurVivaLink had intended to float this summer but withdrew the offering in August due to market conditions.
