Pharmaceutical and diagnostics company Pharmacia & Upjohn has hired CS First Boston to find a strategic partner for its biotech business. A spokesman told Clinica it was not considering selling Pharmacia Biotech. The business has annual revenues of around SKr 2,900 million ($406 million) from the sale of equipment and chemicals for chromatography and electrophoresis.
