Executive Summary
Welch Allyn has introduced an endoscopic transmitter called Videopath. The transmitter along with a flexible sigmoidoscope, a colposcope and a proximal camera for use on the company's hysteroscopes, laproscopes and rhinolaryngoscopes were all launched at the American Academy of Family Practitioners Assembly in New Orleans in October. Welch Allyn, which is based in Skaneateles Falls, New York, expects to release an image management system in early 1997.
