The Liechtenstein ordinance transposing the Active Implantable and Medical Devices Directives took effect on June 28th. This means that all active implantables marketed in Liechtenstein must now bear the CE-marking, while other medical devices have until June 14th, 1998, as in the rest of the EEA.
