Executive Summary

The European Commission is taking France to the European Court of Justice for failing to transpose EC Directive 91/507 into national law within the prescribed period. The Directive modifies the annex to Directive 75/318 on analytical, pharmacotoxicological and clinical testing protocols, to take into account special requirements for the testing of radiopharmaceuticals, immunologicals, haemoderivatives and certain high-tech products.
