The French TIPS price-controlled product system and CE-marking have been at the top of SNITEM's agenda over the last year, reports the French medical device industry association. SNITEM president Jacques Dumont announced at the association's annual meeting at the end of June that single-use products, medical evaluation and medical device vigilance would be priority areas for the coming year. The industry was told the government was well aware that medtech companies operate in a particularly demanding sector.
