Xillix plans to appoint Olympus Optical as worldwide distributor for the Canadian company's LIFE-Lung cancer detection system. The agreement builds on the collaborative research, development and marketing deal signed by the two companies in August 1994, which covers gastrointestinal cancer detection (see Clinica No 616, p 20).
