This article was originally published in Clinica
Vital Signs has been appointed co-exclusive US distributor of the Deltran disposable blood pressure transducer manufactured by Utah Medical Products. Until now, Baxter distributed the device in the US under the name Uniflow. Utah Medical says it will continue to supply Deltran II to Baxter on request but the newer, automated version called Deltran IV, will be marketed by Vital Signs. Possibly one other medical monitoring equipment company in the US will be appointed, with whom an agreement has not yet been completed, Utah Medical says.
