Researchers have identified the molecule that allows HIV to enter human lymphocyte cells. Writing in Nature (June 20th), Dr HongKui Deng of the Howard Hughes Medical Center at New York University, says a beta-chemokine receptor called CC-CKR-5 is the principal co-factor for viral entry.
