Respironics challenges ResMed lawsuit:

Executive Summary

Respironics has refuted Australian company ResMed's patent infringement claim concerning ramp technology. The suit alleges Respironics infringed a newly-issued patent used in Continuous Positive Airway Pressure therapy devices. The suit is ResMed's third such claim against Respironics. The first was resolved in Respironics' favour in the Australian courts. The second has been filed in the Pennsylvania District Court, US. Respironics claims the new patent suffers from many of the same deficiencies as the original ramp patent included in the previously filed action.
