Executive Summary
Trials of Hemagen's HIV-survivor test are about to start in France and Brazil. The test identifies anti-B-2 microglobulin, antibody associated with long-term survivors (see Clinica No 687, p 14). Hemagen is producing the assays which will be used to test 10,000 patients and controls in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Marseille, France, by the end of August.
