China cautious over imported equipment in joint-venture hospitals

China's Ministry of Health has approved a total of 69 joint venture hospital facilities to date. The majority of these are located in China's more prosperous areas - along the coastline and in large cities, particularly Beijing and Shanghai, Zhao Minggang of the Ministry of Health told the recent Pan-Asian Healthcare Summit in Singapore.
