Sanofi's diagnostics make progress in grim French market

Sanofi's consolidated diagnostic sales increased around 9% in 1995 at constant currency exchange rates, outperforming the gloomy French market. Human healthcare revenues as a whole rose 6% to Fr 18,209 million ($3,640 million) for the year. The company does not break down its figures, but diagnostics represent under 10% of human healthcare sales, Christian Policard, president of the diagnostics division, told Clinica. Sanofi's overall revenues rose 4.4% to Fr 23,031 million in 1995.
