Netherlands-based imaging manufacturer Philips Medical Systems has settled the MRI patent infringement lawsuit brought by US-based Fonar. This comes nearly a year after another large imaging company, Hitachi, settled a similar case. Fonar will receive an undisclosed cash payment from Philips. The terms of the settlement are confidential.
