Swedish pulp and paper group SCA has reported sharply higher 1995 turnover for its hygiene products division as a result of the acquisition of German forest industry company PWA. Hygiene products, which includes Molnlycke as well as PWA's hygiene products operations, had sales of SKr 24,814 million ($3,650 million) last year. PWA contributed 35% to these revenues. Molnlycke's incontinence products increased 13% in volume terms during 1995, clinical products by 6%. Including acquisitions, the volume increase for incontinence products was 36%. Earlier this year, Molnlycke agreed to acquire the North American adult incontinence business of Canadian company Cascades.
