LXN is launching in the US a combined finger-stick instrument to measure both blood glucose and glycated protein on a single meter. The device will be available to clinicians and as a self-test for diabetics from January, having just received FDA approval. The US company claims it is the first glycated protein test cleared for non-laboratory use.
