Ceprate, US company CellPro's stem cell concentration system, has used peripheral blood to obtain cancer-free, enriched stem cells. In a Phase III study conducted at 15 sites in the US and Canada, the system was compared with the conventional method of stem cell production for transplant in patients after chemotherapy.
