Saliva Diagnostic Systems has appointed Hurriyet International Trade Medical exclusive distributor of Saliva's rapid HIV tests HemaStrip and SalivaStrip in Turkey. The companies also agreed a minimum order this year of 500,000 rapid HIV tests. Further orders for a minimum of 1.75 million tests by 1999 were also agreed. Hurriyet has begun to register the product with the Turkish health authorities.
