US firm Technical Chemicals & Products plans to complete clinical trials in the next few weeks of a non-invasive device for monitoring glucose levels. It will then apply for US clearance to market the device, called the TD Glucose Meter, which measures glucose levels in interstitial fluid and calculates the equivalent value in the blood. The Pompano Beach, Florida-based company is also developing cholesterol screening devices for doctors' office and home use.
