Paradigm Medical Industries has acquired exclusive manufacturing rights to four ophthalmic ultrasound products from Humphrey Systems, of Dublin, California, a division of Carl Zeiss. Salt Lake City-based Paradigm says the four products, which all have FDA approval, complement its own cataract surgical equipment and its ocular Blood Flow analyser for the detection of glaucoma. Paradigm believes the new products will increase its sales by $2.5 million over the next year. Paradigm's 1997 sales were $566,170.
