Instrumentation Laboratory has agreed to give US purchasing group, Joint Purchasing Corporation, full access to its range of critical care testing systems after signing a five-year sole-source deal. The Italian company's product line includes systems such as Synthesis for laboratory use, GEM Premier and GEM PCL for point-of-care testing, and GEM SensiCath for patient-attached applications. JPC represents more than 500 acute care hospitals and claims to purchase 10% of the US total of such devices.
