Somnus sets up direct sales operation in Europe

Somnus Medical Technologies is to set up a subsidiary in Holland and establish a direct sales operation for the European market. It will hire direct sales representatives in France, Germany, the UK and Italy, and set up a network of distributors in other European countries. The company is switching its sales strategy after disappointing sales in Europe through its distributor, Medtronic.
