IGEN has won a round in its battle with Boehringer Mannheim over Boehringer's Elecsys diagnostic system, which is based on IGEN's electrochemiluminescence technology. The Maryland US district court granted IGEN a preliminary injunction preventing Boehringer Mannheim from distributing its diagnostic system to physicians' offices.
