Five new Italian testing organisations have been appointed as notified bodies for medical devices in the European Economic Area. The newly appointed bodies, which will assess devices for compliance with European Union directives, are Biolab (Milan); Cermet (Bologna); CPM (Basilica); Italcert-TUV Italia (Milan) and the Istituto di Richerche e Collaudi M Masini (Milan).
