Toshiba is to reorganise its board of directors and top management tiers in an attempt to "provide sharper focus for the board in its decision making" and to give greater autonomy to individual business units. Future changes include greater decentralisation of the separate businesses. Meanwhile, Toshiba has released its results for the year ended March 31. Its information and communication systems division had consolidated sales of ¥,184 billion ($16 billion), up 2%. The division includes the company's medical imaging business.
